First National Anthem of Paksitan

Here are some of the lines of the first National Anthem of Pakistan, written by a Lahore based Hindu poet Jagannath Azad. Quaid-e-Azam asked him on 9 Aug 1947 to write the National Anthem of Paksitan. This National Anthem was approved by Quaid-e-Azam and was played on Radio Paksitan. It remained our National Anthem for 18 months.
 اےسر زمینِ پاک
ذرےتیرے ہیں آج
ستاروںسے تابناک
روشن ہے کہکشاں سے
کہیں آج تیری خاک

Amar Shonar Bangla: An Urdu Translation

"Amar Shonar Bangla" is a marvellous song written by Tagore in 1906, when the British government divided Bengal in two parts, as per their policy of "divide and rule". Its first ten lines were adopted as the national anthem of Bangladesh. It is one of the most beautiful songs written in the love of one's fatherland. I am reproducing a part of the critique of the views and knowledge of Pr. Ahmad Rafique Akhtar, from my website A Criticism on the Views and Knowledge Of Pr. Ahmad Rafique Akhtar . Many a times, Prof Akhtar will try to show that modern scientific theories can be inferred from Quran and Hadith. The basic flaw in this approach is failing to appreciate that all scientific theories are rigorous as well as falsifiable. On the other hand, when Quran and Hadith narrate something about the universe, they narrate in allegorical way. Secondly what they say are not falsifiable. All scientific theories are fallible and subject to a constant change. Quran is not fallible, according to Muslim belief. Professor Akhtar is also criticized for expressing such notions, which are not correct scientifically. He frequently refers to scientific facts, but quotes them erroneously.
